In Lehrberg, seven kilometers from Ansbach, the historic village mill, was rebulded into a hotel complex with "granary" and "Remise" and serves now as a cultural and entertainment venue.
Many generations of miller families lived in the old mill since 1773, before Werner von Berg, the descendant of the last master miller Albert von Berg, rebuilt the property in 2015 with his wife into a hotel and event complex. The historic granary with its open glass fronts and the impressive five-meter-high Gothic arch that separates the main hall from the adjoining levels with bar, dining and service area, is the place for concerts, festivities and special events. With the lovingly and tastefully restored concert hall for 350 music lovers and the first-class concert organ in it, a dream of the concert organist Barbara von Berg is fulfilled.
The later built mill tower and reconstructed guesthouse have been converted into a modern hotel complex to match the style of the expansive park.
